I devoured The Marriage Plot, finding bits of myself in each of the main characters, especially Mitchell. Short stories are a blind spot for me — I really liked Emma Straub’s collection, Other People We Married, and immediately sent it to my best friend, who works in academia. (A few of the stories are set at colleges.)
